I think this is a better year for this particular thing though because it doesn't seem like any of the nominees were outrageously popular, all over tumblr, etc.

Gamedev: Finish at least one game next year. I'm working on one, but it's very early on.

I made a "Steal Gold" skill that scaled with your level and used several common events and variables to get the job done.
Also, I made an NPC that collects medals from you and rewards you based on how many you've given him. That was kind of a pain to figure out.

Serious props to everyone out there making their own tilesets. Holy crap this is hard.
I make 'em as I go. I never really sit down and say "I am going to make every feasible asset for this game right now."

I still don't understand why anyone would be insane enough to go on some vendetta against a game project.
When you've been on the internet long enough, these sorts of things become less shocking and strangely expected.

The game has been updated to v1.03. Just a small graphics update for a few tiles that I never got around to finalizing. Nothing related to gameplay has been changed, so there's no real patch notes to speak of.
